According to LSC’s 2017 Justice Gap Report, 70% of low-income Americans who personally experienced a civil legal problem in the past year reported that the problem “very much” or “severely” affected their lives. And yet, 86% of those Americans won't receive the legal help they need because they can't afford an attorney. That's the justice gap... and it's devastating our most vulnerable populations.
But you can change that. You can close the justice gap. You can help your friends and neighbors protect their rights. Whether they're facing an eviction notice, needing to escape an abusive relationship, or caring for a child with disabilities, you can make a difference in their lives.
